Jose in Inter talks - Reports
Jose Mourinho has been in talks with Internazionale about a return to management, according to his personal advisor Eladio Parames.
The Portuguese has been out of the game since leaving Chelsea last September after his relationship with the Premier League club’s board broke down.
It has been reported that Mourinho has been in Italy on Friday in order to engage in discussions with Serie A champions Inter about becoming their coach next season.
“Jose has left for Milan for talks with Inter’s directors,” Parames spoke.
Current incumbent Roberto Mancini’s future at Inter has been the subject of intense speculation ever since his announcement that he would step-down from his role at the end of the season, following his side’s UEFA Champions League elimination at the hands of Liverpool earlier this season.
He retracted his statement the following day but it would now appear his unexpected announcement may have sealed his fate.
Having made no secret of his desire to manage in Italy or Spain upon leaving Chelsea, it would come as little surprise if Mourinho were to take the reins at Inter.
Mourinho’s hugely successful spell with Chelsea saw him deliver two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup.
